  1. Connect a personal VPN you control, such as WireGuard or another consumer VPN that changes the egress path.
  2. Fully quit Claude Code, relaunch it on the VPN path, and retry the same prompt.
  3. If the session stays up, keep using that path for Claude Code until your ISP path works again.

  1. Turn on phone hotspot and join that network from the computer.
  2. Quit Claude Code fully, reopen it on the hotspot, and retry once.
  3. If it works on hotspot but fails on office Wi‑Fi, treat the office path as the broken hop and keep VPN or hotspot for Claude Code.
